Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer says he is “excited about interactive TV”.

Asked about new technologies that particularly excited him during a question and answer session at a European conference, the Microsoft chief executive cited natural language, mobile devices and interactive television.

“I’m very excited about interactive TV, admittedly I’ve been excited about it for about eight years but the market might be ready for it now.”
