Kasenna is previewing the latest version of its web services based LivingRoom IPTV application suite at NAB.
The system can provide advanced services for internet protocol television, including broadcast, pay-per-view, video-on-demand, network personal video recorder, and a music jukebox, all using the same application server.
LivingRoom clients are available in thin client, browser-based configurations as well as with Macromedia Flash.
On the IBM stand, Kasenna is showing LivingRoom running on an IBM WebSphere application server, running on a set-top box from Amino.
On the HP stand, Kasenna is demonstrating a flash client with a similar look and feel to the HP Media Gateway product.
