Thomson, the French electronics and media services company, has outlined its strategic road map for the next two years.
The group will focus in future on the media and entertainment industries. Chairman Frank Dangeard says Thomson foresees significant growth opportunities based on pervasive digital content creation and distribution.
The company sees potential growth in electronic content management and distribution and aims to become a world leader in internet protocol based devices and solutions for video applications.
The company will organise itself around the management of end-to-end services, the provision of systems and equipment, and technology research and licensing.
