Premiere, Germany’s largest digital television operator and only national pay television broadcaster, will deploy set-top boxes from Pace for its new personal digital video recorder offering.
Pace Micro Technology is a lead supplier of set-top boxes for Premiere’s satellite and cable television service and will provide a new box with two tuners and an 80Gb hard drive for the service. The products will be sold by Premiere and in the retail market throughout Germany and Austria.
Pace provided the PVR for the Sky+ service in the UK and is currently also developing a high-definition product.
