The popular reality television show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is back on the UK ITV network, this time with an interactive vote application provided by pushbutton.
By pressing the red button on their remote, satellite viewers will be able to vote on celebrities, read their profiles, bet on the outcome, or play to win a prize.
The application was provided by pushbutton and follows previous contract wins for interactive development for The X Factor, Hell’s Kitchen and Love on a Saturday Night.
The application was built using the proprietary framework developed at ITV interactive, with return path provision from Sky.
Jane Marshall, head of interactive programming at ITV said “pushbutton has an excellent track record of delivery for us at ITV Interactive. Its solid understanding of iTV design and development issues, combined with years of experience in the industry has resulted in a very successful working partnership, making it a key supplier for ITV.”
Independent developer pushbutton was founded by former BSkyB directors of interactive Paula Byrne and Sheila Creak.
