Next week is the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and the theme is Redefining Mobile. The world of mobile communications has certainly changed dramatically over the last decade. The emergence of the smartphone has transformed our conception of the mobile phone. The tablet has emerged as a new category of media device. Will the evolution of the smart television do something similar for television? Will the television screen always be defined by the broadcast medium, or will we end up with a range of communications devices with different display sizes and increasingly interchangeable functions? As always, I am interested in your views.
