There’s been a great response to the Out of the Box TV Challenge taking place in London over the weekend of 22-24 March. This competitive workshop will bring together teams and individuals from the creative and technology communities to rethink the way we watch television. They could have a creative concept that they want to present, demonstrate some out of the box thinking using existing devices or displays, or they could be building their own version of a set-top box or digital video recorder. It looks like there’ll be some interesting teams taking part. There’s still time for a few more people to sign up. It’s free to participate and there’ll be great networking opportunities, with awards and rewards for the winners. Further information is available in the events section of the informitv web site, or contact me directly for details.
