I am very pleased to be one of the chairs for the NextGenTV conference in London next week, considering convergence, video-on-demand, internet protocol television, mobile services and the changing broadcasting landscape. Looking ahead to December, the TV Outlook conference in Munich considers time-shifting and place-shifting, the connected home, user generated content and the future of advertising. I am also looking forward to being involved in a number of IPTV conferences in the coming weeks, including a special IPTV Explained day we have put together with Broadcast magazine, aimed specifically at looking at the implications for broadcasters and brands.
