There’s increasing acceptance of the need for fast fibre-optic networks to deliver next generation superfast broadband. While some incumbent communications companies continue to rely on conventional twisted pair and co-axial cable connections, in some cases selling them on the benefits of fibre, the future seeems to be in fibre direct to the building. This week I’ll be chairing the fourth annual Broadband Connect Summit in London, where we’ll be discussing the desire for universality of coverage versus the need for speed. Let me know if you would like to attend.
