I’ve been reviewing the latest Ericsson ConsumerLab research, which reveals some interesting variation in how people view video on various screens. A report from Ovum forecasts future growth for Netflix and predicts it will remain the dominant online video subscription service but suggests that over-the-top offerings are unlikely to become the principle method of delivering pay television for the foreseeable future. Our Multiscreen Index tracks trends in pay-television across a hundred leading providers as the numbers come in.
