Back in London we are eagerly awaiting the launch of Freesat, the satellite equivalent of Freeview. Having originally been involved in the launch of Freeview back at the BBC, it has been fascinating to watch it become the most popular digital television platform in the country. Its success has been emulated in New Zealand, where they now have both satellite and terrestrial versions, and is due to be imitated in Australia. We expect Freesat to launch in the United Kingdom next week. Next Monday is a public holiday for some countries, so there will not be an informitv newsletter, but we will have updates on our web site and syndication feeds as usual.
