This week sees the MIPTV programme market and Milia conference in Cannes in the sourth of France. The annual event will also host the International Interactive Emmy Awards and reveal the results of the Content 360 competition. We will have the results on informitv as soon as they are announced. This is immediately followed by the NAB Show in Las Vegas next week, one of the main events in the broadcast conference calendar, and informitv will be there to meet the key players and report on developments. With NAB now describing itself as a digital media industry event rather than a broadcasting convention, the degree to which programme producers and broadcasters are both embracing new forms of digital media distribution is a sign of the times.
